This Venetian masquerade mask has been beautifully made. with a beautiful gold relief design around the edges of the mask. He has a black hat on, also fringed by a gold relief pattern. The folds below the beak are like the folds of a scarf.
The glasses are shown around the eyes and the beak is in in a cream colour, with a hand-painted image covering the length of the beak of 'Il Dottore' the Plague Doctor. A remarkable piece of art!
This mask measures approximately 430mm long to the tip of the beak and 285mm at its widest point, and is suitable for mounting on a wall.
